Edna Dobbs Sexton was born December 19, 1945 and departed this life Friday, January 29, 2021 reaching the age of 75 years. She was the daughter of the late Willie Guffey Dobbs and Frona (Kidd) Dobbs.

She was united in marriage to Clarence Ray Sexton on October 13, 1962 and to this union two children were born.

She is survived by: her husband, Clarence Ray Sexton; one daughter, Janet Doss; one son, William "Bub" Sexton (wife Vickie); three grandchildren, Jessica (Rex) Gregory, Ashley Doss and Junior (Amy) Young; four great grandchildren, Cadence Branscum, BrayLynn and Waylon Crabtree, and Willow Young; four "bonus" grandchildren; and six "bonus" great grandchildren. She is also survived by:  two sisters, Jewell Bell and AnnaLee Rigney; and two brothers, Cecil and Bennie Dobbs; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: five brothers, Clyde, Wilburn, Joe, Grady, and Hershel Dobbs; and one sister, Lula Mae Jones.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Hospice of Lake Cumberland
