EDNA RAMSEY was born June 9, 1922 and departed this life January 1, 2006 reaching the age of 83 years. She was the daughter of William Abbott and Edith Hicks Abbott.

She was united in marriage to William Everett Ramsey and to this union five children were born.

She is survived by three daughters, Margaret McCutchen, Sue Robinette, and Freda Matthews all of Monticello, KY; one sister, Minda Sproles of Indianapolis, IN.

She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Beth, Pina, Stephanie, Clara, Amy, Kenny, Beckie, Barry, Gina, and Tara; four step grandchildren, Rick, Nancy, Kathy, and Bill; six great grandchildren, Marty, Loren, Lauran, Genesis, Gabrielle, Gage, and Gracie is due in two weeks; along with several special nieces and nephews and all of her special friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ramsey; her parents, William and Edith Abbott; one son, William Riley Ramsey; and one daughter, Mary Doris Slevins.

She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her

Visitation: Tuesday, January 3rd after 4 pm and Wednesday, January 4th after 8 am
Funeral Service: Wednesday, January 4th at 11 am
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
