Edna Edwards was born July 29, 1943 and departed this life Wednesday, August 17, 2016 reaching the age of 73 years. She was the daughter of the late Alva and Ida (Smith) Perry.

She married Glen Edwards, Sr. and to this union four children were born.

She is survived by: her husband, Glen Edwards, Sr.; two sons, Jeffrey Allen and Keith Wayne Edwards; one daughter, Lisa Mae Dishman; 8 grandchildren, Diane, Chandra, Jeffrey, Benton, Miranda, Angela, Tori, and Trey; and 6 great grandchildren, Logan, Kaleb, Caroline, Sadie, Jonah, and Raelynn and two on the way. She is also survived by: two brothers, Alva Perry and Avery Perry; and one sister, Ruth Denny; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Alva and Ida Perry, she was preceded in death by: one son, Glen Edwards, Jr.; two brothers, David Perry and James Perry; and one sister, Betty Grooms.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 21, 2016 after 6 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 22, 2016 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Edwards Chapel Cemetery.
