EDNA ACREY was born June 7, 1916 and departed this life Saturday, May 26, 2007 reaching the age of 90 years. She was the daughter of the late Cole and Jane Bell Spradlin.

She is survived by: 2 sons, Jim and Don Parmley; 2 daughters, Marie Stephenson and Bonnie Abbott; and 2 step-sons, Kinney and Jerry Acrey. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchldren, and 11 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by: her husband, Dock Acrey; her parents, Cole and Jane Spradlin, 1 son, Mitchell Parmely; 1 daughter, Louise Acrey; 3 brothers, Alpha, Otha, and Arthur Spradlin; and 2 sisters, Leva Childers and Mary Spradlin.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, relative, and friend that will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: Monday, May 28th, 2007 after 6 pm in the funeral home chapel.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at 1pm at the Parnell Church of God.
Interment: Parnell Church of God Cemetery.
