ELDON BELL was born December 19, 1922 and departed this life May 22, 2006 reaching the age of 83 years. He was the son of the late Fannie Cole and Forrest Ray "F.R." Bell.

He was united in marriage to Frances Margaret Harding who passed away June 19, 2003. He later married Martha "Dorsey" Burris Willoughby.

He is survived by his wife Dorsey Bell of Monticello, KY; and his daughter, Patricia Smith of Michigan; two grandchildren, Glenn and David Smith; and six grandchildren, Danny Smith, Joshua Blankenship, Amanda Smith, Austin Smith, Dillon Smith, and Terra Smith. He is also survived by three brothers, James, Garvin, and Don Bell; and six sisters, Marie Domcik, Ollie Blevins, Vera Morten, Flonnie Stone, Joyce Baskins, and Glenna Nelson; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, F.R. and Fannie Bell; his wife, Frances Bell; one sister, Christine Alexander; and his granddaughter, Lisa Smith Blankenship who passed away June 14, 2005.

He was a World War II Army veteran who served his country faithfully. He was awarded a Bronze and Silver Star for his distinguished service.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
