Obituary
Edith Fairchild was born December 11, 1929 and departed this life Monday, February 01, 2010 reaching the age of 80 years. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Audrey (Crabtree) Rains.
She is survived by: 2 daughters, Connie Adkins and Darlene Sexton; 2 sons, Ronnie and Jerry Fairchild; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: 1 sister, Thelma Bertram; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Herbert and Audrey Rains, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Chester Fairchild; 1 son, Scott Fairchild; 1 sister, Elsie Rigney; and 3 brothers, Guy, Ray, and Beecher Rains.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Wednesday, February 3rd after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Thursday, February 4th at 11 am
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
