Eddie Lee Poore was born January 25, 1967 and departed this life Wednesday, November 10, 2010 reaching the age of 43. He was the son of the late Howard and Thelma (Hollars) Poore.

He is survived by: 1 brother, William Howard "Bubby" (Cynthia) Poore; 2 sisters, Irene (Donnie) Dishman and Martha (Paul) Chaplin; 1 niece, Sunshine Dishman; 3 nephews, Steve Dishman, James and Adam Chaplin; 1 great niece, Aspen Baker; 1 great nephew, Dakota Baker; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Howard and Thelma Poore; 1 nephew, Justin Poore; and 1 niece, Senja Poore.


The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 14, 2010 from 10:30 am – 3:30 pm at the home of his sister, Martha Chaplin at 7245 KY 1275 North in Monticello. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 4 pm at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Darrell Bunch and Bro. Tommy Floyd officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
