Eddie Hicks was born September 25, 1958 and departed this life Friday, April 20, 2012 reaching the age of 53. He was the son of the late Hubert Franklin and Mary Thomasine (Jones) Hicks.

He is survived by: his wife, Leta Hicks; 2 daughters, Kimberly (Brad) Parrigin and Chastity Hicks; 1 son, Jordan Ray Tuttle; 2 grandchildren, London Nicole and Victoria Michelle Honeycutt. He is also survived by: 6 brothers, Marshal, Hershal, Martin, Randall, Jack, and Kay Hicks; and 2 sisters, Lucille Denney and Jean Clark; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Hubert and Mary Hicks, he was preceded in death by: 3 brothers, Robert Hicks, Wilford and Ray Guffey.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 23, 2012 at 2 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Harvey Antle, Bro. Darrell Ragan, and Bro. Clay Chaplin officiating. Burial will be in Hicks-Frost Cemetery.
