Earlene Atkins West Branscum was born September 1, 1954 and departed this life Monday, October 19, 2015 reaching the age of 61 years. She was the daughter of the late Chester and Dorothy (Shell) Atkins.

She is survived by: three sons, Christopher Edward West, Raymond Earl West, and Jeremy Chad West; two daughters, Amanda Bell and Joelana Poore; 16 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: two brothers, Danny and Hollis Atkins; and two sisters, Debbie Dishman and Margie Lawson; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Chester and Dorothy Atkins, she was preceded in death by: her 1st husband, Joe West; and her 2nd husband, Carl Branscum; one grandchild; and one sister, Nadine Whitaker.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 22, 2015 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 at 2pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel.
