Earlene Troxell was born May 27, 1935 and departed this life Wednesday, December 4, 2013 reaching the age of 78. She was the daughter of the late Joe and Estil (Brumley) Stringer.

She was united in marriage to Herbert Troxell and to this union two children were born.

She is survived by: one son, Steve Troxell; one daughter, Sandy Troxell; three grandchildren, Christie Hall, Jeremiah Prince and Gavin Coffey; and two great grandchildren, Austin Eadens and Ashtyn Bruin. She is also survived by: two sisters, Maxine Six and Lena Troxell; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Herbert Troxel; one brother, Herbert Stringer; and three sisters, Mary Poore, Oreta Brown, and Jessie Barnes.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 9, 2013 from 5 – 9 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 1 pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Leffew and Bro. Mike Hollars officiating. Burial will follow in the Spann Hill Cemetery.
