Obituary
EARL SMITH was born March 18, 1917 and departed this life February 12, 2007 reaching the age of 89 years. He was the son of the late John C. Smith and Litha Blevins Smith.
He married Bonnie Blevins and to this union eight children were born.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Smith of Monticello, KY; two sons, Roy Smith and Richard Smith both of Monticello, KY; five daughters, Carolyn Troxell, Neva Smith, Vicki Winchester, and Dianne Rankin all of Monticello, KY, and Linda Mayne of Fayetteville, OH; 9 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Harold Smith of Monticello, KY; and one sister, Alma Gillespe of Cincinnati, OH; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by one son, Gary Smith; his parents, John C. and Litha Smith; and several siblings.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Wednesday, February 14th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Thursday, February 15th at 10 am
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
