Earl Ray "Bub" Doss was born September 16, 1957, and departed this life Tuesday, April 29, 2025, reaching the age of 67 years. He was the son of Helen "Louise" (Adkins) Doss and the late Proctor "Earl" Doss.

In addition to his mother, Louise Doss, he is survived by: his significant other, Lorene Rigney; one brother, Tommy Doss; two nephews, Tommy Lee and Corey Edwin; and two nieces, Jessica Gregory and Ashley Doss; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

Along with his father, Earl Doss, he was preceded in death by: his 1st wife, Brenda Neal Doss; his 2nd wife, Kathy Smith Doss; and one brother, Michael Joe Doss.

He was a proud Army Veteran.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 3, 2025, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Alexander Cemetery.
