Earl's greatest memories were horseback riding, mule and wagon rides; all of this done with family and friends. He loved people. He loved anyone to just come sit down and visit with him. In his eyes "the more the merrier."
He was a very hard worker. He has saw life tough. He was a farmer, an electrician, a builder, and worked at Belden's for 13 years where he made lots of good friends before retiring. But as good as he was at all this; his best job was being a loving husband, dad and "Popie."
Throughout his life he's had many health issues, several surgeries and heart problems but on November 10, 2013 his big ole' heart became broken into tiny pieces when he lost the love of his life of 62 ½ years. His fragile body just couldn't hold those pieces together anymore. He tried the best he could but God put a smile back on his face Monday morning when he reunited him with his sweetheart once again.
