Earl Eugene Hancock was born February 19, 1930 and departed this life Thursday, December 17, 2015 reaching the age of 85 years. He was the son of the late Mert and Florence (Dishman) Hancock.

He is survived by: three sons, Dale, David, and Danny Hancock; and three sisters, Gladys Roy, Chris Neat, and Bonnie Claywell; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Mert and Florence Hancock, he was preceded in death by: one daughter, Joyce Watkins; one son, Johnny Hancock; four brothers, Fred, Carl, Osborn, Guy Hancock; and six sisters, Hazel Fulton, Eva Jones, Doris Watson, Lois Peercy, Glenna Hancock, and Bessie Hancock.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 21, 2015 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Davidson Cemetery in Forbus, TN.
