Gerald DWIGHT Morgan, age 67, son of Charles Noble and Maude Morgan, passed away at his home March 16, 2022.

Survivors include his brothers, Billy Joe (Mary Anne) Morgan and Gary Morgan, his niece, Lisa (J.B.) Powell, and nephews, Rick (Stephanie Southard) Morgan, James (Verna) Meece, and Robert (Heather) Meece.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Billy Dwayne Morgan, and his great-niece, Kayla Jo Hancock.

Dwight was a farmer doing the work of a veterinarian, a carpenter, and a mechanic all his life.  Being a farmer takes in big territory. He did most of this work by himself. When young, he grew several acres of tobacco, doing most of that work himself.

Dwight was a very private and independent person. He lived his life with a high standard.

He will be sadly missed.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 20, 2022 between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Taylor's Grove Cemetery.
