Obituary
Dovie Thompson Dunagan was born August 8, 1928 in Wayne County, Kentucky and departed this life Tuesday, March 18th, 2003, reaching the age of 74 years. She was the daughter of Dewey Thompson and Laura Jane Hardwick Thompson.
She was united in marriage to Fred C. Dunagan on May 7th, 1953 and to this union three children were born.
She is survived by two sons-David and Ronnie Dunagan, both of Monticello, KY. She is survived by three grandchildren-Dewey and Jonnie Dunagan and Belinda West and five great grandchildren-Bethany, Eric, Jordan, Matthew and Christopher David.
She is also survived by one brother-Homer Thompson of Monticello, KY and two sisters-Altie Russell and Josephine Smith, both of Illinois, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one grandchild-Christopher Dale Dunagan, one brother-Floyd Thompson and two sisters-Rosalynn and Evelyn Thompson.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Thursday, March 20th, 2003 in the chapel.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Friday, March 21st at 1 PM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Interment: Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
