Dorothy Marie Hardwick Taylor was born May 19, 1921 and departed this life November 27, 2003 reaching the age of 82. She was the daughter of Harrison and Clara Hardwick.

She was united in marriage to Ottis Willard Taylor and to this union 7 children were born.

She is survived by 2 sons – Charles (Chuck) Taylor and Herschel Taylor both of Illinois, 4 daughters – Lois Polson, Carol Dishman, Jammie Taylor, Judy Hicks all of Monticello, 2 brothers – Bill Hardwick and Elzie Hardwick both of Illinois, 1 sister – Margaret Young of Illinois, 17 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, along with a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her husband – Ottis, her parents – Harrison and Clara, 1 son – Willard Gene, 1 brother – Charlie Hardwick, and 2 sisters – Mae Jacobs and Grace Hardwick.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation: The family will receive friends after 11:00 AM Sunday, November 30
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be held Sunday, November 30 at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Taylor Cemetery
