Obituary
DOROTHY PATTON was born April 19, 1932 and departed this life Monday, December 03, 2007 reaching the age of 75 years. She was the daughter of the late Wash Massengale and Nora Crabtree Massengale.
She married Proctor Patton and to this union seven children were born.
She is survived by: her husband, Proctor Patton of Monticello, KY; four sons, Billy, Larry, Donald, and Bobby Patton all of Monticello, KY; three daughters, Janice McGinnis, Cindy, and Tracy Patton all of Monticello, KY; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Leonard Massengale; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Wash and Nora Massengale; three brothers, Lawrence, Nelson, and David Massengale; and one sister, Allene Jones.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Wednesday, December 5th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Thursday, December 6th at 1 pm
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
