DOROTHY JONES DENNIS was born August 25th, 1935 in Slavens, KY and departed this life Friday, November 18th, 2005, reaching the age of 70 years. She was the daughter of the late Richard Jones and Elza Gregory Jones.

She was united in marriage to Paul Dennis.

She is survived by her husband Paul, one sister-Connie Sue Dobbs of Stearns, KY and one son-Robert Coy Dennis of Monticello, KY. She is survived by six brothers-Reese Jones of Stearns, KY, Austin Jones of Phoenix, AR, Homer and Charlie Jones of Monticello, KY, Clifford Jones of Sidney, OH and Ray Jones of Auburn, IL and one sister-Wilma Dobbs of Stearns, KY. She is survived by six grandchildern and four great grandchildren, along with several neices, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son-Gary Lee Dennis, and three brothers-Willie, Cecil and Oscar Jones.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, relative and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2005 in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 23rd, 2005 at 1 PM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Johnnie Gregory and Bro. Estil Jones officiating.
Interment: Burial will be in the Bud Gregory Cemetery.
