Dorothy Brummett was born June 6, 1950 and departed this life Tuesday, September 15, 2009 reaching the age of 59 years. She was the daughter of the late Tommy and Ruth (Wallace) Davis.

She is survived by: her husband, James "Rackie" Brummett, 2 sons, Clint and Josh Brummett, 1 daughter, Samantha Foster, 1 grandchild, Bryar, and 2 step grandsons, Tyten and Tysen. She is also survived by: 2 brothers, Jackie and Sammy Davis, and 3 sisters, Betty Wallace, Debbie Guffey, and Treasa Skinner; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Tommy and Ruth Davis, she was preceded in death by: 1 daughter, Tammy Davis, 2 brothers, Harold and Joe Davis, and 1 sister, June Perdue.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: Wednesday, September 16th between 5 - 6 pm
Funeral Service: Thursday, September 17th at 1 pm
Interment: Green Betty Cemetery
