IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dorothy Faye
Brown
February 1, 1945 – April 20, 2022
Dorothy Faye Brown was born February 1, 1945, in Sunnybrook, KY and fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on April 20, 2022, at the Clinton County Nursing & Rehab.
Faye was the daughter of the late Willie Estil Stinson and Doshia Evelyn Catron Stinson, who preceded her in death. She is the sister of Clyde (Nina) Stinson, Clay Stinson, and Jane Hancock. She will join her parents, her sister Jane & brother-in-law Edwin Hancock and sister-in-law Emogene Stinson in eternal rest.
Faye was never blessed with children of her own, however she claimed everybody else's. She and Hobert loved kids, she always kept a little toy of some sort, so that when a child came to their house, she would "have a little something" to give them. She loved Halloween because all the kids from the neighborhood would come to visit. A child never left their house without a quick hug and candy in hand.
Faye took so much pride in their little home. Hobert and Faye worked hard on the farm, from raising sheep and cattle to growing corn and tobacco. She was always tagging along helping do whatever needed to be done. She loved to cook, sew, and crochet, and Word Search. Her favorite thing was to sing. Working around the house you could hear her singing, especially in the kitchen.
Faye was faced with much sickness in her life. There were many days she wasn't able to do much, but that didn't keep her from smiling. She loved to talk and laugh with others and tell what God had brought her through.
In her last few years, the most important thing on her mind, was leaving this life and joining Hobert in sweet Glory Land. Faye and Hobert were almost inseparable, always together, when you saw one the other was close by. Today, she is healed of all sickness and with "her man" singing Standing on the Promises with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
