Doris was born on April 17, 1932 to the late John and Leana Stephens. She married Ray Tucker in 1970, who proceeds in death.  Also, proceeding her in death is her siblings, Theila Crawford, Abby Davidson, Beatrice Koontz, and Joe Stephens; children, Ronnie Criswell, Dale Criswell, and Pam Criswell; and granddaughter, Samantha Suggit.

Doris is survived by sister Barbara (Earl) Alley; children Steve (Trish Brumley) Criswell, Larry (Nancy) Chriswell, Diane Criswell, Joyce Criswell, Mike (Shirley) Tucker, John (Linda), Tucker.  She is also survived by grandchildren Ken Criswell, Jenelle (Rick) Russell, Michael Criswell, Kyle (Lori) Criswell, Carrie (Mitchel) Hofmeister, Deanna (David) Phillips, Jared (Amber) Criswell, Jeremy (Jeannie) Criswell, Daniel Suggit, Rachael Chriswell, Erik (Janessa) Chriswell, Stacy (Jason) Piercy.  Doris was also loved and cherished by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will November 8, 2020, beginning with family visitation at 9:00 am and then welcoming friends at 10:00. Funeral services will be held immediately following visitations on November 8, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Hicks-Vaugh Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Jason Bertram officiating, followed by her burial in the Elk Springs Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
