Doris Helen Robinson was born December 22, 1936, and departed this life Tuesday, January 21, 2025, reaching the age of 88 years. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Katheryn Thurston.

She is survived by two sisters, Joyce Lyons of Monticello, and Janice (Bob) Chandler of Madison, Indiana. She is also survived by nephews, Edwin Lyons and Larry Lyons and niece, Katheryn Peek, all of Monticello.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynette Robinson and son, Brian Robinson.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 27, 2025, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, January 27, 2025, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Private interment will be at Elk Spring Cemetery at later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Fall Creek Baptist Church, or the charity of your choice.
