DORCIE WHITT was born February 7, 1919, and departed this life November 28, 2006, reaching the age of 87 years. He was the son of the late Birt Whitt and Ida Gibbs Whitt.

He is survived by: his wife Eva Whitt; one son, Larry Whitt; 2 daughters, Elaine Taylor and Barbara Ann Landry; 3 stepchildren, Cecil, Joyce, and Bruce Burnett; one sister, Louise Moler; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchild; and 2 great great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Birt and Ida Whitt.

He was a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, brother, relative, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation: Thursday, November 30th, 2006, from 5-9pm at the funeral home.
Funeral Service: Friday, December 1, 2006 at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Mt. Zion Cemetery
