Donny Blevins was born June 19, 1961 and departed this life Monday, August 22, 2016 reaching the age of 55 years. He was the son of the late Boyd and Edith Alice (Harris) Blevins.

He is survived by: his wife, Gleda Blevins; one son, Josh Blevins (Shana); and 3 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren; and 2 step great grandchildren. He is also survived by: one brother, Stanley Blevins; and five sisters, Mary Blevins, Christine Blevins, Imogene Stewart, Lorene Farmer, and Gerema Bennett; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Boyd and Edith Blevins, he was preceded in death by: five brothers, Alonzo, Billy Joe, James, Johnny and Conley Blevins; and two sisters, Martha Blevins and Elizabeth Blevins.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 between 5 – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be Thursday, August 25th at 1:30 pm in the Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, KY.
