Donnie Upchurch was born May 14, 1941 and departed this life Friday, May 19,2017 reaching the age of 76 years. She was the daughter of the late Ode and Thelma (Southwood) Parmley.

She married Earl Upchurch and to this union four children were born.

She is survived by: her husband, Earl Upchurch; one son, Shawn Upchurch; three daughters, Scarlett Upchurch, Autumn Upchurch, and Shannon King; eight grandchildren; and one special great grandchild- Savannah Grace. She is also survived by: one brother, Dan Parmley; and three sisters, Faye Gregory, Glenna Harris, and Sandy Bell; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Ode and Thelma Parmley, she was preceded in death by: two brothers, Conley Parmley and Taylor Parmley.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 22, 2017 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or the Alzheimer's Association
