Donnie Ray Gregory was born on June 12, 1953, and departed this life on January 18, 2024, reaching the age of 70 years. He was the son of the late Corbit and Wilma Gregory Reynolds.

On May 20, 1974, he was united in marriage to Helen Tucker and to this union, two children were born: James (Angela) Gregory and Jason (Sondra) Gregory.

He is survived by his wife, Helen, his two sons, James and Jason, and his two daughters-in-law, Angela and Sondra, his five grandchildren, Madison (Kody) Ragan and Aaron, Karson, Shade and Sawyer Gregory and his three great-grandchildren, Hadleigh, Houston and Harlow Ragan, his siblings, Michael, David, Terry and Billy Gregory, Lisa Worley, Sharon Cox, Andy Reynolds, Darlene New and Nancy Newton.

In addition to his parents, Corbit and Wilma Gregory Reynolds, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Earl Gregory and Tim Reynolds, and sister, Mary Gregory Isaacs.

Donnie was employed with Belden's and after his retirement, he enjoyed working in real estate, farming, and trading.

Donnie was saved at an early age and was a member of the Clay Hill Baptist Church.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 21, 2024, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the funeral home chapel.  Funeral services will be held Monday, January 22, 2024, at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
