Donnie Bell was born April 20, 1954, and departed this life Monday, January 13, 2025, reaching the age of 70 years. He was the son of the late Raymond and Della (Guffey) Bell.

He is survived by: one daughter, Shannon Upchurch (Steve); two sons, Jeff Coffey (Robin) and Gary Coffey (Amy); nine grandchildren, Steven Upchurch, Seth Upchurch (Lindsey), Shadera Upchurch, Brandon Worth, Dustin Coffey, Jeremy Coffey (Michaela), Tyler Miller (Quinton), Jamie Miller, and Dylan Miller (Kyla); and 22 great grandchildren and one on the way. He is also survived by:  two sisters, Grace Bell and Shirle Crabtree; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Raymond and Della Bell, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Kathleen Bell; one brother, Richard Bell; and four sisters, Martha Bell, Stella Ramsey, Joyce Gregory, and Linda Sue Vaughn.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 18, 2025, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
