Donna Goforth was born January 6, 1948 and departed this life Saturday, August 17, 2013 reaching the age of 65. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn (Hand) Richardson.

She is survived by: her husband, Darrell Goforth; son, Eugene Shelton; 1 daughter, Teresa Ward; and 3 grandchildren. She is also survived by: 2 brothers, Walter Lee and Daniel Richardson; and 2 sisters, Elaine Burton and Loretta Crowley; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Robert and Evelyn Richardson, she was preceded in death by: 2 brothers, Wilbur and Arley Frances Richardson; and 2 sisters, Mary Peircy and Helen Richardson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 11am – 1pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 1pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Dick officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
