Obituary
Donald Sweet was born December 27th, 1942 in Wayne County, Kentucky and departed this life Thursday, January 9th, 2003, reaching the age of 60 years. He was the son of the late Mintford Sweet and Verdie Lowe Sweet.
He is survived by one son-Robert Allen Sweet of Monticello, KY and one daughter-Donna Chappelow of Indianapolis, IN. He is survived by three grandchildren.
He is also survived by three sisters-Eloise Simpson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Grace of Chicago, Illinois and Imogene Elliot of Gaffney, South Carolina and one half brother-Lee Ray Simpson of Indianapolis, IN, aoong with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one full brother-Bobby Kay Sweet and two half-brothers-Duck and Howard Simpson.
He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Friday, January 10th, 2003 in the chapel.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Saturday, January 11th at 1 PM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Interment: Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
