Donald Ray Bell, age 78, passed away December 13, 2021.  He was born July 16, 1943 to the late Marie Phipps Bell and Robert Preston Bell.

He is survived by:   his wife, Linda Jenkins Bell; 2 sons, Donald Kay Jenkins (Crissie) and Bobby Jenkins; 3 grandchildren, Angel Shantale Jenkins, Ashley Stephens (Jacob), and Brooklyn Jenkins; and 3 great grandchildren, Natalie Swafford, Jaxyn Stephens, and Kyra Stephens.  He is also survived by two sisters, Louise Burke of Monticello and Joyce Bell of Louisville, nieces, Patricia Burnham of Kissimmee, Fl, Kathie Wells of Brentwood, TN and Janet Schwage (Kirk) of Hendersonville, TN, along with great-nieces, great-nephews, and several cousins.

Preceding him in death was a sister, Elizabeth, and a brother, Kenneth.

Donald lived his entire life at Coopersville where he enjoyed knowing folks and being part of the community.  He was a friendly, kind, and never met a stranger.  Donald loved his family and took great delight in being a grandpa.

He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 5-8pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 1pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
