Donald Balcerzak was born June 19, 1943 and departed this life Sunday, November 22, 2020, reaching the age of 77 years.

He is survived by: his wife Diana (Brown) Balcerzak: 1 son, Chris (Amanda) Balcerzak of Paducah, KY; 3 daughters, Kim (Jeremy) Massengale of Monticello, Rebecca (Anthony) Brazas of Virginia Beach, VA, and Cindy (Dale) Retzack of Waukesha, WI; 7 grandchildren – Daniel and Hannah Balcerzak, James (Dezi) Brazas, Jonathan (Hannah) Brazas, Katherine Brazas, Glen Retzack, Bobbie Jo (Tim) Sanders; and 2 great grandchildren, Channing and Thea Sanders, and 1 step-granddaughter, Myla Massengale.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions from the Governor of Kentucky and upon recommendations from the Kentucky Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors, a PRIVATE funeral service will be held. For family members who are attending services you are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
