Don Kempton was born June 14, 1938 and departed this life Wednesday, June 6, 2018 reaching the age of 79 years. He was the son of the late Mannon Hewell and Eva Marie (Marcum) Kempton.

He married Jean Denney and to this union four children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Jean Kempton; three sons, Ricky Kempton (Melissa), Eddie Kempton (Brenda), and Steve Kempton; and one daughter, Donna McGuire; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.  He is also survived by:

two brothers, Harold and Larry Kempton; and three sisters, Doris Smith, Joyce Guffey and JoAnne Shelton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Mannon and Eva Kempton, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Delmer and Virgil "Mack" Kempton.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 8, 2018 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home and Saturday, June 9, 2018 between 8 am – 11 am at World Wide Ministries Church.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11 am at the Worldwide Ministries Church. Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
