Dolly Sue Davis was born November 11, 1955 and departed this life Monday, August 8, 2011 reaching the age of 55. She was the daughter of the late Albert Roscoe "Jack" and Antha (Westmoreland) Cooper.

She was united in marriage to James "Earl" Davis and to this union 3 children were born.

She is survived by: 3 sons, Jerry (Linda), Dewey (Charlotte), and Boyd Davis; 6 brothers, Odel, Paul, Riley, Obie, Dan, and Arthur Cooper; and 4 sisters, Reba Gregory, Brenda Stonecipher, Shirley Jones, and Betty Lucille Davis; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Jack and Antha Cooper, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Earl Davis; 2 brothers, Ross and John Cooper; and 2 sisters, Marie Brumely and Geneva Hicks.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 12, 2011 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 1 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
