Dewey "Sonny" Leslie Dunagan was born June 2, 1947, and departed this life Sunday, December 28, 2025, reaching the age of 78 years. He was the son of (the late) Leslie and Evelyn (Keith) Dunagan.

He is survived by one son, DeWayne Leslie Dunagan (wife, Debbie); one grandson, Bradley DeWayne Dunagan (fiancé, Laura Branscum), two sisters, Anna Jones, of Avon, Indiana, and Barbara Nichols, of Indianapolis, Indiana, along with a host of family and friends who will mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Hobert Dunagan.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
