Obituary
Dessie Riddle was born March 12, 1926 and departed this life Tuesday, March 15, 2011 reaching the age of 85. She was the daughter of the late Ether Piercy and Pernia (Morgan) Piercy.
She was united in marriage to James Riddle and to this union 2 children were born.
She is survived by: 1 son, Don Riddle of Lexington, KY; 1 daughter, Evelyn Riddle of Lexington, KY; and 2 grandsons, Tim Barrier of Austin, TX and Jameson Riddle of Lexington, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Ether and Pernia Piercy, she was preceded in death by: her husband, James Riddle; and 1 brother, Homer Piercy
She was a member of the First Nazarene Church of Monticello and was active in the Lakeview Homemakers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504
Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 2pm at the Elk Spring Cemetery with Bro. Duranceau officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
