Dennis Watson was born March 4, 1960, and departed this life Sunday, January 5, 2025, reaching the age of 64 years. He was the son of the late Sylvester Watson and Christine (Pennycuff) Brown.

He is survived by: two sons, Dennis "DJ" Watson (Rebekkah)and Clint Watson (Shannon); two daughters, Renee Sartain (Travis) and Tosha Garner (Jr.); bonus daughter, Megan Morrow; 11 grandchildren, Madison Dabbelt (Tyler), Brian Dabbelt, Taylor Sartain, Torey Goodman (Jacob), Lexie West, Bellah Minauri, Amayah Minauri, Scarlet Roberts, Rilyn Garner, Kinslee Garner and Wyatt Garner; bonus grandchildren, Weston, Macy, Carter, & Grant; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Sylvester Watson and Christine Brown, he was preceded in death by: one grandchild, MaKenna Reese Watson; one brother, George Watson; and one sister, Amy Watson.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 9, 2025, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, January 10, 2025, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Tuttle's Chapel Cemetery.  Military honors will be provided by our local DAV Chapter 105.
