Dennis Dishman was born October 25, 1960 and departed this life June 3, 2021 reaching the age of 60 years. He was the son of the late Estil Odell and Laure Irene (Hancock) Dishman.

He is survived by: his son, Shane Dishman; his daughter, Jessica Dishman; and three grandchildren, Maggie  and Sadie Higginbotham, and Stetson Foster. He is also survived by:  three sisters, Shairon Trivett, Joyce Groce, and Loretta Dishman; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Estil and Laura Dishman, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Mackey Odell, William, and Bobby Dishman; and two sisters, Georgia Cash and Peggy Paige.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 7, 2021 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, June 7, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
