Obituary
DELIA BARNES was born January 5, 1910 and departed this life April 27, 2006 reaching the age of 96 years. She was the daughter of the late George Washington Bell and Effie Keeton Bell.
She was united in marriage to Leland Barnes and to this union one child was born.
She is survived by her son, Patrick H. Barnes of Monticello, KY; six grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters, Phyllis Jean Alexander of Monticello, KY and Emma Vogler of Greenville, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, G. W. and Effie Bell; her husband, Leland Barnes; and three sisters, Lela Hopper, Neva Fields, and Ida Eads.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Saturday, April 29th after 4 pm
Funeral Service: Sunday, April 30th at 2 pm - Immanuel Baptist Church
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
