Dawn Contessa Clines, 54, of Raleigh North Carolina, passed away Saturday, December 28th, 2013 at Wake Med of Cary, North Carolina. Dawn, a native of Somerset, Kentucky received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Kentucky and was a Pharmacist with GlaxoSmithKline for over 20 years. Dawn loved life, lived every moment with a purpose, and her greatest pleasure was helping others less fortunate. Her favorite time of year was Christmas, a time for giving, but Dawn gave all year long. She gave to many charities with her favorites being the Samaritan Purse, Angel Tree, and Toys for Tots, because to her, it helped to spread the joy of Christmas.

Dawn is survived by her Partner, Rhonda D'Urso and Mother Virginia Clines both of Raleigh, North Carolina and hundreds of friends. She is preceded in death by her Father, John W. Clines of Somerset, Kentucky.

Friends may visit with the Family on Tuesday, January 7th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Hicks Vaughn Funeral Home at 647 N. Main St., Monticello, Kentucky. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 8th at the same location followed by a funeral procession to Elk Springs Cemetery.
