David Glenn Piercy was born November 25, 1957, and departed this life Friday, August 16, 2024, reaching the age of 66 years. He was the son of Tella Mae (Troxell) Piercy and (the late) Amos Andy Piercy.

He is survived by his wife, Ola "Jane" (Doss) Piercy; 2 sons, Michael (Jane) Piercy, and Chris Piercy; 2 step-children, Scott (Cindy) Neal, and Brandy (Dusty) Smith; 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; his mother, Tella Mae (Troxell) Piercy; 2 brothers, Don (Debbie) Piercy, and Darrell Piercy; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Piercy; 1 sister-in-law, Connie Piercy; and 1 great-granddaughter, Remi Price.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the funeral home chapel.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the New Charity Cemetery.
