David "Bull" Lewis was born January 25, 1939, and departed this life Friday evening, November 11, 2016 reaching the age of 77 years. He was the was the son of the late Charlie & Essie (Roberts) Lewis.

He married Judy Atkins and to this union 4 children were born.

He is survived by: 2 sons, Mark "Jug" Lewis (wife Robin) and Todd Lewis (wife Delora); 2 daughters, Susanne Scott (husband Phil) and Vickie Barrier (Roger Turner); 7 grandchildren, Danielle Meyer, Bryant Dunagan, John David Scott, Gunner Barrier, Dakota Morrow, Delainey Morrow, and Crystal Turner; 4 great grandchildren, Sophia & Lukas Meyer and Merrek & Abigail Turner; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents Charlie & Essie Lewis, he is preceded in death by: his wife Judy Lewis; 5 brothers, General, Hershel, Gilbert, Arnie, and Ray Lewis; and 6 sisters, Wilma Dishman, Lillie Bell, and Ruby Roberts, Roma, Flora, and Clora Lewis.

He was a loving father, grandfather, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 12-3pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 3pm. Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
