DAVID MICHAEL KOGER was born October 1st, 1956 in the Griffin community of Wayne County, Kentucky and departed this life Sunday, February 13th, 2005, reaching the age of 48 years. He was the son of Oliver Cordell Koger and Susie Alice Dobbs Koger.

He was united in marriage to Lisa Blevins Koger and to this union one child was born.

He is survived by his wife Lisa, and one daughter-Denise Thomas of Louisville, KY. He is survived by two grandchildren.

He is also survived by two brothers-Dallas Koger of Somerset, KY and Cecil Koger of Stilesville, IN and one sister-Helen Phipps of Monticello, KY, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers-Vestil, Eugene, Earl and Paul Roger Koger.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, relative and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.


Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Wednesday, February 16th, 2005 in the chapel of the funeral home.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Thursday, February 17th, 2005 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Interment: Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery.
