David Kendrick was born November 28th, 1941 in Wayne County, Kentucky and departed this life Monday, May 12th, 2003, reaching the age of 61 years. He was the son of the late Harry Kendrick and Alma Coffey Kendrick.

He was united in marriage to Dona Potts Kendrick and to this union five children were born.

He is survived by his wife Dona, three sons-David Kendrick Jr. and wife Pam, Bobby Kendrick and wife Nickie, and Brian Kendrick and two daughters-Wendy Stuart and husband Brian and Diana Kelly and husband Monte, all of Harrodsburg, KY. He is survived by eight grandchildren.

He is also survived by five brothers-Harry Kendrick of Shelbyville, KY, Melvin Kendrick of Lexington, KY, Bill Kendrick of Chicago, IL, Ken Kendrick of Georgetown, KY and Steve Kendrick of Danville, KY and four sisters-Shirley Bryant of Harrodsburg, KY, Wanda Joseph of Raceland, KY, Margie Zoeckler of Nicholasville, KY and Anna Baker of Harrodsburg, KY, along with several neices, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, relative and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.


Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5:30 PM on Wednesday, May 14th, 2003 in the chapel.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Thursday, May 15th, 2003 at 3:30 PM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Interment: Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery in Monticello, KY.
