David Brummett was born September 4, 1942 and departed this life Tuesday, December 22, 2020 reaching the age of 78 years. He was the son of the late Marsh and Ruth (Savage) Brummett.

He is survived by: his wife, Linda Brummett; two sons, Frank Brummett (and Debi) and Marshall Brummett; three daughters, Melissa Branscum, Connie Gregory (and Bruce), Lorie Branscum (Denzel); 12 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by:  brothers, Johnny, Larry (Lorene), Gary (Lois), and Danny (Mary) Brummett; and sisters, Lois Upchurch, Betty Downs, Judy Dunagan, Margaret Dobbs and Brenda Glover (John); along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Marsh and Ruth Brummett, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Tommy and Jimmy Brummett; and two great grandsons.

Graveside services will be held Monday, December 28, 2020 at 11 am at the Brummett Family Cemetery with burial to follow.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance.
