Darlene L Abner, age 50, of Monticello passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Wayne County Hospital.

Darlene Lee Abner was born December 31, 1969 in Hudson, NY and departed this life Tuesday, December 15, 2020 reaching the age of 50 years. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Charlotte Race.

She is survived by: her husband, Jason Abner; 1 daughter, Jessica Vrooman; 2 sons, Jeremy and William Bermel; 2 grandchildren, William Ray Vrooman, Jr. and Angel Lee Marie Vrooman; several brothers and sisters; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: 1 grandson, Matthew (Matt-Matt) Allen Vrooman; and1 brother, Herbert Race, Jr.

She was a loving wife, mother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

There will be no public service.
