Danny Joe Poore was born October 15, 1980 and departed this life Sunday, October 11, 2015 reaching the age of 34 years. He was the son of Danny Paul Poore and the late Hazel Charlene (Guinn) Owens.

Along with his father, he is survived by: his daughter, Caitlin Poore; two sisters, Whitney Owens and Danielle Menge; and his girlfriend, Amy Toles. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Mary Guinn; several aunts and uncles; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his mother, Charlene Owens, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Cecil Guinn and his paternal grandparents, Ray and Mary Poore.


The family will receive friends on Friday, October 16, 2015 after 11 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Lockett's Chapel Church Cemetery.
