Danny Ray Morgan was born August 18, 1949, and departed this life Monday, September 25, 2023, reaching the age of 74 years. He was the son of the late Voicey Marvin and Lena Belle (Morgan) Morgan.

He is survived by: his wife, Barbara Morgan; two sons, Jerry Morgan (Amy) and Derek Morgan (Yvonne); and four grandchildren, Rylan, Jacob (Callie), Makenzie and Madison Morgan. He is also survived by: two brothers, Phil Morgan (Regina) and Mac Allen Morgan (Tabby); and two sisters, Loretta Hollars (Shannon) and Brenda Stinson (Tommy); along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Richard Morgan and David Hale Morgan; and one sister, Joan Clydene Abbott.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 29, 2023 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Parmley's Grove Cemetery.
