Danny Dale Marcum was born January 26, 1948, and departed this life Friday, November 7, 2025, reaching the age of 77 years. He was the son of the late Ervin and Ather Marcum.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Hatfield Marcum; and one brother, Dennis "Cotton" Marcum.

He is survived by:  his daughter, Twyla (Chad) Bell; his son, Brent Coffey; eight grandchildren, Carrie (Tim) Schuttauf, Kimberly Molden (George Osborne), Shaely Coffey (Aldo E. Arredondo), Brianna Hope Coffey, Kansas Star Coffey, Mark Buchanan, Isaiah Buchanan, and Ann Marie Coffey; three great grandchildren, Julianna Grace Schuttauf, Violet Anne Schuttauf, and RemiAnna Sue Coffey; and goddaughter, Jessica Crabtree (Brian) Hicks; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 15, 2025, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Parmley's Grove Cemetery.
