Danny Jay Dean was born March 3, 1950 and departed this life Tuesday, July 6, 2021 reaching the age of 71 years. He was the son of the late Whitt and Neva (Perkins) Dean.

He is survived by: three sons, Jansen Dean, Andre Dean and Cameron Dean; one daughter, Nikki Lewis; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  He is also survived by four sisters, Ann Fay Guffey, Bonnie Riley, Barbara Ramsey and Karen Southwood; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Whitt and Neva Dean, he was preceded in death by:  five brothers, Randall, David, Roger, Donald, and Freddie Dean; and two sisters, Donna Parmley and Imogene Keeton.

Danny served in the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 9, 2021 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, July 9, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
